Red Cliffs Lunarfest

Saturday 26th March from 3.00pm

The Lunarfest Carnival is run yearly in March at the end of the harvest

The Lunar fest commences with the street parade at the new time of around 4pm.

This event comprises a

  • community themed street parade,
  • a raffle,
  • school student concert,
  • children activities,
  • brass band concer
  • food, novelty and craft market stalls throughout the afternoon.
The festival atmosphere is complimented by a criterion bicycle race in the late afternoon and concludes with a popular children's rated outdoor movie in the evening.

LOCATION: Indi Ave, Red Cliffs

This year Pat Drummond a well known Australian musician, singer and storyteller will headline the night time program.

 Items include: from local Primary Schools and a performance from the Mildura Brass Band Ensemble.Also on the entertainment list so far is the Tongan Youth Group, trumpeter Donald Mayne and items from the Sunraysia Country Music Club.

 

Free entry but gold coin donation appreciated.
