Nangiloc Recreation Reserve Master Plan
If you are involved in a group that utilises the recreation reserve at Nangiloc, please look through the master plan. It will be an important document used for the future of the reserve.
Mildura Rural City Council is asking for feedback on the proposed master plan for the Nangiloc Rec Reserve by Friday 13th November.

Mildura Rural City Council is calling for feedback on draft master plans that have been developed for twelve recreation reserves throughout the region. |

The plans, which provide a guide to the development of recreation reserves in Ouyen, Murrayville, Walpeup, Nangiloc, Red Cliffs, Irymple, Lake Cullulleraine, Cardross, Merbein, Underbool and Nichols Point seek to establish long term strategies for the important community facilities.
Based on community input and suggestions from those people who use them regularly, the master plans outline key priorities, issues and needs of the individual reserves.
Portfolio Councillor for Sport and Recreation Sue Nichols said a series of user group meetings, community workshops and public submissions ensured the master plans represented the needs and wishes each community has for their recreation reserve.
"Sport and recreation is a key thread in the social and cultural fabric of our region. And in most communities, the recreation reserve is the hub of sporting activity so establishing specific action plans for these reserves was an important process," she said.
Copies of the draft master plans are now available to view on Council's website http://www.mildura.vic.gov.au/Page/Page.asp?Page_Id=97&h=0Anyone requiring a hard copy should contact Council's Acting Recreation Development Officer, Kate Andronescu on 5018 8314.
"I encourage residents, reserve users and other who are interest in the future of their town's recreation reserve to access the relevant master plan and let Council know what they think of it," Cr Nichols said.
