Fifi Box taking Nangiloc live to air on Channel 7s Sunrise program.
SUNRISE weather girl Fifi Box appeared on television amongst a sea of oranges and students yesterday morning, as part of a live cross from the Nangiloc/Colignan Primary School.
Fifi was in town promoting the National Australia Bank's ‘School First' initiative, where one school in Australia could win $1million by forming an inniovative educational partnerships within their community.
In the case of the Nangiloc/Colignan School, its partnership with the Murray Valley Citrus Board and local grower Frank Sos has helped students form their own company, Fundzinc, and create a healthy alternative to canteen snacks - the ‘Slurpeeez'.
The experience was doubly special for Year 3 student, Rikki Flint, who was given the opportunity to help Fifi with her weather report.
