Family Day Care

Description

The Family Day Care Scheme offers a Nationally Accredited home based child care service in the homes of more than 70 registered care providers who are regularly visited by the Family Day Care field workers to monitor progress of children in care.

The field workers also ensure carers comply with State and National Standards, and funding guidelines.

Care providers are situated throughout Mildura Rural City. Family Day Care is a flexible childcare option for parents who are working or studying or in need of a break.

Family Day Care offers full time, part time, before and after school, school holidays and respite care.

Family Day Care caters for babies and children up to the commencement of high school.

Family Day Care's small groups allow care providers to bond with the children in their care and their families.  Siblings are able to be in care together and experience care with children from a variety of age groups.

Child Care Benefit is available through Centrelink and can greatly reduce the cost of care.
