Nangiloc/Colignan & District Primary School is situated in the heart of a thriving irrigation district on the banks of the Murray, upstream from Mildura about 100 kilometres by river and about 45 kilometres by road. The school population fluctuates annually but has remained reasonably stable, settling at the 70 mark. The school is well equipped with computers and associated facilities.
Enterprise learning - The upper school children have a company called FUNDZINC which produces orange juice and Slurpeeez which are sold to the school children and the wider school and local community. The children have purchased a juicer and are lucky to have the oranges donated by local growers. Fundzinc also controls the school tuckshop with stock control, ordering and pricing and the manning of the venue. The latest venture is the famous Orange Drive - the healthy alternative to a lolly drive.
