community plan

Community planning in Nangiloc Colignan & District involves community members uniting to shape the future, creating a stronger sense of ownership over plans that impact the area, and empowering locals to actively influence the trajectory of their town. The effectiveness of these plans hinges on the dedication and involvement of the community.

Building upon the foundation laid by the Nangiloc Colignan & District Community Plan of 2008, the process of revising the plan began in 2022 to align with the evolving values, aspirations, and priorities of our community for the next five years. Residents engaged in identifying the strengths of their community and expressing their appreciation for living in the region, to ensure the draft Nangiloc Colignan & District Community Plan for 2024-2029 outlines a vision for the next five years, rooted in community aspirations and identified priorities.

The Nangiloc Colignan & District Community Association will spearhead the review and renewal of the plan, supported by consultations facilitated by the Mildura Rural City Council.
