Nangiloc, Colignan and Iraak

Our district spreads along the Murray River, south-east of Mildura, located in north-west Victoria. The communities of Nangiloc, Colignan and Iraak have a population of about 600.

The industry of the district is primarily irrigated agriculture on rich, sandy soil. Along with citrus and grapes, the area is becoming increasingly well known for its many niche agricultural goods including garlic, melons, asparagus, pistachios and almonds.

The area is popular as a camping destination with many beautiful sandbars and old growth river red gum forests along the Murray River and within Hattah-Kulkyne National Park.

Every July, Colignan hosts the national Hattah Desert motorcycle race.
