Nangiloc Colignan and Iraak

Our district spans the picturesque Murray River region, nestled southeast of Mildura in northwest Victoria. Home to the vibrant communities of Nangiloc, Colignan, and Iraak, boasting a collective population of approximately 600 residents.

At the heart of our district lies a thriving industry focused on irrigated agriculture, flourishing on nutrient rich sandy soils. Renowned for its citrus orchards and vineyards, our region is also gaining recognition for its diverse range of specialty crops, including garlic, melons, asparagus, pistachios, and almonds.

Beyond agriculture, our area beckons adventurers and nature enthusiasts alike. With its tranquil sandbars and majestic river red gum forests, the Murray River and Hattah-Kulkyne National Park offer an idyllic backdrop for camping and outdoor exploration.

Each July, Colignan becomes a hub of excitement as it plays host to the nationally acclaimed Hattah Desert Motorcycle Race, drawing enthusiasts from far and wide to experience the thrill of this iconic event.
