Would you like to help a child discover the delight of reading? Do want to help a child discover the fun of learning through play? Would you like to help parents discover the joy of reading and interacting with their young children?

Then come and discover the benefits of volunteering with the Reading Discovery program.

We are seeking volunteers to support parents with young children (0-5 years) through the Reading Discovery program across the Sunraysia region including the Nangiloc/Colignan area.

Volunteers are currently needed in either of the following models:

Playgroup:

This is similar to the home visits, however is delivered through a supported play group environment.

Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided to all volunteers. Must have own transport and be willing to have Working with Children and Police Checks.
